Human Growth Hormones (HGH)

Somatropin HGH is used in sports to build muscle definition. Growth hormone gets its name from the fact that in young people it causes a marked acceleration of linear growth, mainly due to the growth of the long tubular bones of the limbs. The baseline concentration of growth hormone in the blood is 1-5 ng/mL, during peaks it can rise to 10-20 and even 45 ng/mL.

It is produced by the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland and is responsible for many physiological processes in the body:

  • anabolic and anti-catabolic effects;

  • muscle growth;

  • fat burning;

  • healing of injuries and fractures;

  • rejuvenation of body cells: renewal of skin, hair, internal organs, ligaments and joints.

The level of natural growth hormone is maximum during puberty, after which it steadily decreases with age. That is why recombinant growth hormone is used in medicine, cosmetology and sports (bodybuilding, fitness, powerlifting, etc.).
